Welcome to AARA

We are committed to providing quality rheumatologic care for the people of Arizona.

Arizona Arthritis and Rheumatology Associates is a private single specialty medical practice with nine locations across Arizona; six in the Phoenix metropolitan communities, better known as the Valley of the Sun, and a clinic in Flagstaff, Prescott and Tucson. Our expertise lies in the diagnosis and management of disorders wherein immune system aberrations result in unnecessary and harmful inflammation in various organs of the human body.

• Although all staff at AARA have been fully vaccinated, for the safety of our patients we ask that you wear a mask and do not bring additional companions.
• Our clinics are no longer open on Fridays, but our hours have been extended from 7am to 6pm.
• AARA no longer prescribes controlled substances (e.g. hydrocodone, oxycodone, fentanyl, etc.) nor performs evaluations or completes forms related to Disability Determination. Patients who need these services should be directed to their primary care provider or a pain specialist. Read more…

What Sets Us Apart From The Rest

Diagnostic evaluations:

  • In-house blood draws and processing
  • On-site X-Ray
  • On-site bone densitometry with same day interpretation by AARA
  • Complete electrodiagnostic testing performed by a board certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician
  • Skin and salivary tissue sampling when appropriate

Management:

  • On-site infusion therapy suites staffed with highly trained infusion RNs
  • Ultrasonic guided joint and pariarticular injections
  • Viscosupplementation
